一 |     SBS '뉴스헌터스' 무인 인형뽑기방에서 인형 약 750개를 훔친 14세 여학생 3명이 경찰에 붙잡혔다. 26일 SBS ‘뉴스헌터스’에는 경남 진주경찰서가 절도 혐의로 A양 등 14세 여학생 3명을 체포해 조사 중이라고 전다. 이들은 지난 2월 경남 진주시 한 무인 인형뽑기방에서 두꺼운 종이를 기계 안으로 밀어 넣어 인형을 여러개 훔친 혐의를 받는다. 매장 폐쇄회로(CC)TV에는 이들이 두꺼운 종이를 인형뽑기 기계 안으로 밀어 넣은 뒤 좌우로 움직여 인형을 쓸어 담는 모습이 고스란히 찍혔다. 이들은 이런 방식으로 한 번에 인형 30여개를 꺼내 바닥에 늘어놓은 뒤 가방에 차곡차곡 담았다. 이들은 다른 손님이 들어오면 거울을 보거나 노래를 듣는 척하며 기다리다가 손님이 자리를 뜬 뒤 범행을 재개했다. 점주는 섞일 수 없는 위치의 인형들이 뒤섞여 있고, 매장 곳곳에서 두꺼운 종이가 발견되자 CCTV를 확인했다. 점주가 CCTV 영상을 확인한 시점을 기준으로 일주일 동안 여학생들은 매장을 16차례 찾았다. 하루에 네 차례나 범행을 벌인 날도 있었다. CCTV 보관 기간이 일주일밖에 되지 않는데다 범행 도구로 보이는 종이가 매장 내에서 이전부터 발견됐던 만큼 실제 범행 횟수는 더 많을 것으로 추정된다. 학생들은 신고를 받고 출동한 경찰에 현행범으로 체포됐다. 당시 이들은 꺼낸 인형들을 매장 바닥에 펼쳐놓고 살펴보던 중이었다. A씨가 CCTV 등을 통해 추산한 도난 인형은 약 750개로, 피해액은 약 600만원에 이른다. 이들은 훔친 인형을 중고거래 플랫폼에서 판매한 것으로 알려졌다. A씨는 자신이 매장에서 취급하는 것과 같은 인형을 판매하는 온라인 게시글을 캡처해 경찰에 증거로 제출했다. 사건 발생 한 달 뒤쯤 학생들의 부모와 만난 자리에서 부모들은 “아이들이 어려서 뭘 모르고 그랬다”는 취지로 이야기했다고 한다. 학생들 부모들은 경찰 조사 과정에서 “이번 일을 깊이 반성하고 있으며 다른 사람에게 피해를 주는 일이 없도록 세심하게 지도하겠다”, “불미스러운 일을 저질러 진심으로 반성하고 있다. 원만하게 합의할 기회를 달라”는 입장을 전한 걸로 알려졌다. 이어 "피해액 600만원이면 금값이 한 돈에 70만원일 때를 기준으로 약 열 돈에 해당한다"며 "금은방에서 금 열 돈을 훔쳤다면 처벌받았을 텐데, 학생들이 어리다는 이유로 봉사나 교육만 받고 끝나는 것은 이해하기 어렵다"고 호소했다. 경찰 측은 해당 발언에 대해 "지난 2월 발생한 일이라 현재로서는 확인하기 어렵다"며 "당시 상황과 피해자가 받아들인 입장이 다를 수 있어 구체적인 답변을 내놓기 곤란하다"고 밝혔다.。

二 |     STOCKHOLM -- A ban on gasoline and diesel-fueled cars from a commercial district of Stockholm's downtown in 2025 will be the first for a European capital, a city official said Thursday.The ban will take effect in a 20-block area of shops, pedestrian walkways and a few homes in order to curb pollution, reduce noise and encourage use of electric vehicles said Lars Strömgren, the city council member for the Greens who's in charge of the Swedish capital's transportation. Many European capitals have restrictions on gasoline and diesel cars, but Strömgren says Stockholm’s complete ban would be a first. “We need to eliminate the harmful exhaust gases from (gasoline) and diesel cars. That’s why we are introducing the most ambitious low-emission zone to date,” Strömgren told The Associated Press. The idea is to create an "environmental zone” where only electric vehicles will be allowed. There will be some exceptions such as for emergency vehicles and transportation for the disabled.In its budget for 2024, the left-leaning, environmentally-focused city council on Tuesday unveiled the plan for the target area just north of the city’s famed Old Town. The municipal government controls a majority in the council, so the vote set for Nov. 23 is expected to be a formality. “We are pretty proud, I must say,” Strömgren said, adding that gradual expansion of the environmental zone would be decided in the first half of 2025.One of the city’s main cab companies, Taxi Stockholm, said its transition to emission-free vehicles is moving at a fast pace. The company’s acting chief executive Pernilla Samuelsson said it's emission-free vehicles now make up 30% of its fleet - almost seven times more than last year. “In other words, the transition is going fast and it is already being driven forward by the industry,” Samuelson said.Some aren't convinced things will go smoothly. Nike Örbrink from the opposition Christian Democrats told the Aftonbladet newspaper that some are concerned the plan would hurt businesses and the hotel industry.Other European capitals harbor similar ambitions. The Dutch capital, Amsterdam, is aiming for all transport in the city, including automobiles, to be emissions-free by 2030.The mayor of Paris wanted to ban all diesel cars before next year’s Olympics, and gasoline cars by 2030, but has run up against resistance.Currently, any diesel cars built before 2006 and gasoline cars built before 1997 are banned in Paris and 77 surrounding towns for 12 hours a day on weekdays.
